As part of our condominium and cooperative practice, we have represented a number of unit owners and tenant groups in their negotiations with sponsors and developers. Since we have represented many developers and have worked closely with the governmental agencies involved, in most instances, we have resolved disputes very favorable to our clients.
Our practice focuses on the creation, improvement and operation of condominium and cooperative projects. In many instances, we negotiate the construction financing for the project and structure critical loan provisions that fit with the requirements of the offering plan and give the developer the highest flexibility for the project. We have extensive experience in all phases of such projects, often working with our clients to develop and file offering plans, but sometimes coming in later in the process to consult on specific issues that may arise. At whatever stage we are brought into the project, we can assist and add value.
